Muslimah Song

Fitri Widjayanti - Muslimah

oh muslimah berbahagialah
kita telah dilahirkan-Nya dengan mulia
subhanallah Tuhan tlah berkati
surga itu di telapak kaki ibu

oh muslimah busanamu menutup rapi
auratmu kau lindungi dengan indahnya
oh muslimah kau rajin mengaji
Islam kau jadikan tuntunan sejati

oh muslimah dekatkanlah diri
selalu pada Ilahi demi cinta-Nya
insyaallah Tuhan kan memberi
kecantikan yang abadi dalam ridho-Nya

and repeat~

The first time I listened to this song was when kak Fitri Widjayanti herself performed at Ina Scarf's the opening event. Her voice is very heart-calming, and I think it's a very easy-listening song. But what caught me the most is the lyrics! it has beautiful meaning, and it inspires me, indeed. Overall, this song is definitely recommended! :D

Fantastic Nature

Photobucket
Masha'Allah...! for every God's creation. I am so glad to go to a place where every aspect we see, we feel is still fresh, still original.  Last Monday, on 25th July I had a fun day spent with my high school class mates to Ciwangun Indah Camp (the place where I joined an art camp too earlier this year!) to go to Curug Tilu or, we may call it 'Tilu' Waterfall. Tilu is a sundanese word for 'Three'. Since, we were in Science Three class, we found it as a cool coincidence! We had to uphill, downhill, with so many challenges. That's what we called a healthy and fun journey! I took a lot of photos to see the great nature I can't miss.

July 2011 Playlist

Currently: Enjoying these tracks!

From Coldplay's music video 'Strawberry Swing' which made my jaw dropped and at '-1:13' is  the start of my very favourite part of the whole song, to Tetty Kadi's renewed song for Soe Hok Gie soundtrack I've never heard before but I repeated it so many times since the first time it came to my ears. And then, Adele's phenomenal song, a 'L o n e l y' song by Frente, a more preferable 'Mau dibawa kemana' jazzy version by Marcell, a very enthusiastic 'Sepeda' song brought by the energetic RAN, and a Bird Song by Florence and the Machine.

  1. Coldplay –  Strawberry Swing
  2. Tetty Kadi – Dimana Dia (OST. Soe Hok Gie)
  3. Adele – Rolling in the Deep
  4. Frente – Lonely
  5. Marcell –  Mau dibawa kemana
  6. Ran – Sepeda
  7. Florence + the Machine – Bird Song

Ama20n + Moshaict

Here's the recap about Saturday, 23rd June. A day out spent with Hutri which is full of photos and making this post as its photo diary.

Firstly, we met up at our beloved school; SMAN 20 which was having a bazaar called Ama20n just honestly to step our feet in, looked around, went out because there were less friends from our year, and we're not so familiar with the music presented in that bazaar. We were willing to do so because we missed the atmosphere of our school oh so much!

Before we went shopping to the most awaited; (yes it finally came to this town!!!) Moshaict (Moslem Fashion District) bazaar, we had lunch at Riau Junction and happened to take some silly shots!

We couldn't blink as soon as we entered Moshaict bazaar. Our eyes were fed with so many beautiful jilbab, and clothes, and everything you've been waited to buy. I've also planned to meet my cousin from Jakarta there. I'm so glad that she's now covered by jilbab. I didn't notice her as soon as she greeted me in front of my face!

After we've finished shopping, we sat for some minute at Madame Sari, having chit chats while drinking tea, we glided back to our school to make a shot if we could meet some more of our friends. I just wanted to get into the school, had ash'r prayer at one of my favourite places in this world; masjid Al-Hikmah. The airflow is really good, and I had so many good times which are making me always felt at peace whenever I sat there. Good times.

While waiting to be picked up, I took some photos of Hutri sporting her new colourful scarf by Dian Pelangi, and her inner ninja.

What a day!

Ina's Scarf Opening Event

PhotobucketPhotobucket
Here's the reportage I've been wanting to post. I was informed by kak Ashfi Qamara from Fiminin about the event. I was so excited about it! Especially when you love the whole thing from their beautiful scarves to the invitation design. The event was opened with the greeting from the founder itself; Mrs. Irna Mutiara. Ina Scarf presenting Indonesia Distinctive Scarf. The line opening is on the basis of concerns about the lack of clothing production in Indonesia, how does the import affect the craftsmen in Indonesia, etcetra. That's why this line prioritize "the craftsmen local products of weaving, knitting, batik and handprint which having an Indonesian basic distinctive tradition style".

After the greeting, here came the magnificent women in maroon Irna La Perle dress; Mrs. Henidar Amroe who confessed as a loyal Irna La Perle's fan. Of course! who couldn't be stunned seeing a beautiful muslimah wearing a such gorgeous dress and classy-styled jilbab with a beautiful inner beauty which perfecting the whole look? She came to bring a short talk about "Quantum Ikhlas". The way it brought casually, I found it's really touching and inspires me. Her words brought me optimism and increased my faith about how really Merciful Allah is. I am really thankful yet amazed that Allah Can Give us directions through many medium, especially when I am in this situation which is really needed to hear about this quality talk.

And then... My friend; Siti Hani and I could never be any happier seeing the heart-melting kak Dian Pelangi. We were timid to ask her to take photos together, but she really welcomed us well. I really wish I could be like you, kak Dian! After seeing her through blogs and many 2D medias, her 3D version is way more beautiful and she made us felt happy to be around her. I loved her potato wedges, ring, and shiny bag! isn't it YSL? (haha it's just a guess)

Finally!!! I met kak Ashfi; the creative director of Ina Scarf. Sooo happy! She's super gorgeous and super tall. Everything about her is 'super' actually. Do you know how it feels when seeing a beautiful + talented girl with loose casual style that makes you feel 'I belong to trash' feeling? Well, that's my first impression when I saw and talked to her. Oh my God, there were too many beautiful and stylish people in one place.

Dream Comes True

Photobucket
These pairs of Prada's postcard series sunnies for spring/summer 2010 collection are so cool to my eyes since the first time I saw it. To me, these acidulated and acetated crystal glasses are the fun, yet characterful piece that could empower a person's look by wearing it. Especially the neon ones. I've adored the neon ones the most. When I saw these Prada-ish shades in Mango... I was like "OMG, OMG." With several considerations I've made, I finally purchased it today! *dancing happily* Finally, dreams do come true. This one has the shape which Freja wore, and the glasses are like the ones Liu Wen wore.

I didn't realize that the sweatshirt I wore, is written on the back: "...the dream is still alive!" until I saw it on the picture. It's quite funny actually. This sweatshirt was almost going to be sold at my sister's garage sale (it belonged to her, then I tried to save it with my whole energy and finally it became mine!), and I haven't worn it since last year. I figured it out when I suddenly become spirited again after the painful days I've been through: facing reality that I didn't get accepted in my dream college. BUT Life must go on~ Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

So, by the meaning of Dream Comes True are both to finally buy my dream sunnies and, to have "...the dream is still alive" spirit back!

When I enjoyed taking some photos... My bestie came to gave me this pack of cute gifts from her! There are cool striped jilbab (instant love), a compact disc contains highschool & friendship tracks which actually sadden me :(, a photo album filled with our lovely memories together, delicious brownies, and some slices from her super cool peterpan's birthday cake. Last Friday she had her 18th birthday so, me and my chums tried to give her a "silly" surprise! We don't understand why, whenever we're trying to give her surprise, she surprised us instead... OH MY! Haha, but thanks for everything Nisaaaa!!!
